As one of the first national innovative urban districts and an important area for the Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Center, Yangpu District has collaborated with enterprises such as Bilibili and Paper Games to create the "Shanghai Dimensional Fantasy Festival", launching the first drone delivery route between universities and park aeras in Shanghai and establishing an eco-system for low-carbon living including platforms like Love Recycling.

Multidivisional Platform Facilitating the Growth of Talents

To better provide a platform for mutual communication and assistance for overseas talents, an alumni event was successfully hosted at the Grand Innovation Digital Planet. Over 100 overseas students listened to the sharing of outstanding alumni on how they demonstrated their talents in Yangpu District, and learned how Yangpu is working to attract global talents.

According to an officer from Shanghai Yangpu Keji Venture Center Co., Ltd., currently Yangpu has established the "International Ecological Innovation Alliance", introducing institutions such as the Shanghai Center of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Dell Edge Laboratory, etc., and gathering multinational enterprises like Douyin, IBM, Nike, as well as local enterprises like Bilibili and Paper Games. The Changyang Innovation Valley functional area has attracted nearly 300 innovation and entrepreneurship enterprises such as Xiaohongshu and POIZON to settle in, and a virtuous development cycle of "agglomeration of talents and matching of industries" has taken shape.

The officer said,"In the future, we will continue to rely on the 'Sci-Tech HR Moments' brand to optimize the entire chain of talent service system, further develop and build a 'cross-border intellectual hub' for domestic enterprises and overseas talents, and promote the free flow of the three elements - talents, technologies and capital - within the ecosystem."

Regarding to the issues that overseas students are most concerned about, such as residence policies, subsidies, and entrepreneurship support, the High-level Talent Center set up a "mobile classroom" on the spot. While explaining the latest talent policies to everyone, they also patiently answered all kinds of questions raised by the students.
