AUCA Spring 2026 Parents Salon Review

AUCA Spring 2026 Parents Salon Review

AUCA, in collaboration with several renowned international high schools in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai, jointly launched a series of "Parent Salon" from March to June 2026.

AUCA, in collaboration with several renowned international high schools in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai, jointly launched a series of "Parent Salon" from March to June 2026. Parents Salon provided themed and systematic lectures covering professional and diverse topics related to college admissions for high school students and parents, aiming to assist overseas universities and high schools in better serving Chinese families planning to study abroad.

Different from the traditional university recruitment fairs and info sessions, the Parents Salon adopts a "small and targeted" model. AUCA collaborates closely with high school counselors, catering to the needs of high school students and parents. Senior and experienced overseas university recruiters also participate in planning a series of lectures and Q&A on topics related to study abroad applications. The lecturers have rich experience and professional knowledge in the field of international education. Through high-quality Parents Salons, the lecturers convey the advantages of international education and deepen the cooperation with international high schools. It is a great opportunity to establish long-term and stable connections with high school counselors and help them enhance the accuracy and influence of recruitment work.

 Comments from High School Counselor

Hiba Academy Shanghai has deepened collaboration with AUCA this semester to organize a series of tailored lectures for 12th-grade students, covering topics such as how to effectively utilize university resources, insights into future employment trends, and case studies on fraud prevention, helping students make a smoother transition from high school to college. For 9th-grade students, AUCA also delivered presentations on overseas studying, including the analysis of pathways to studying in Europe and a comparative overview of liberal arts colleges versus public universities. Additionally, AUCA supported our school's Career Day to offer targeted sessions for grades 8–11 on industry developments and career prospects in STEM fields. Furthermore, for students interested in the arts, AUCA provided systematic guidance on applications and key preparation points, offering detailed support tailored to student' and parents' needs.

Each lecture was precisely designed based on the specific needs of students of different grades. The admission recruiters were well-prepared and professional. We sincerely thank AUCA for providing valuable resources and support, which helped students make more adequate preparations in terms of college admission planning, career exploration, university adaptation, and future development.
