On July 26th and 27th, the Changning District Talent Work Bureau of Shanghai and AUCA jointly held the launch ceremony of the Changning District Overseas Talent Introduction Initiative. They also hosted a key enterprise overseas talent demand matchmaking meeting and the 2024 AUCA Summer Career Fair.

On July 26th, the Changning District Overseas Talent Introduction Initiative officially launched, aiming to further attract and gather outstanding overseas talents and excellent projects.

The launch ceremony invited representatives from 20 overseas university offices in China, overseas student representatives, and key enterprise representatives from the district to gather in Changning. They focused on government-school-institute-enterprise cooperation and talent demand matchmaking, providing a high-quality exchange platform and broad development opportunities for overseas talents, contributing to the construction of a high-level talent hub in Shanghai. The event received strong support from 64 member schools of AUCA from Europe, America, and Southeast Asia.

Representatives from companies such as Bosch, Unilever, Eaton, China Eastern Airlines, Spring Airlines, China Three Gorges Corporation, and Yixin jointly released the 2024 overseas talent demand list.

Before the launch ceremony, representatives from overseas university offices in China and overseas student representatives visited the Shanghai Hongqiao Overseas Talent One-Stop Service Center, experiencing the efficiency services. After the ceremony, representatives from overseas university offices in China and key enterprise representatives from the district further engaged in matchmaking and exchanges.

On July 27th, the Changning District Talent Work Bureau, in collaboration with the AUCA, hosted the Changning Key Enterprises Overseas Talent Demand Matchmaking Meeting and the 2024 AUCA Summer Career Fair.

Representatives from companies in Changning such as Bosch, Unilever, Ctrip, Eaton, China Eastern Airlines, Spring Airlines, China Three Gorges Corporation, Yixin Group, as well as leading companies from other districts such as ByteDance, L’Oréal, and CATL, along with over 500 overseas students from more than 20 overseas universities, participated in the recruitment event.

Through various themed sharing sessions, including enterprise talent demand keynote speeches and alumni career roundtable discussions, the event helped overseas students understand the current domestic industry development trends and job opportunities, connecting them with excellent domestic employers. The face-to-face job fair provided a platform for enterprises and talents, offering high-quality internship and full-time job opportunities, bringing a total of 2,315 full-time and internship positions to the talents.
