At the beginning of the New Year, AUCA institutional Partnership Committee organized several events in Beijing to enhance communication between oversea universities and domestic universities. 

On the morning of January 30, over 20 representatives from American universities came to the Beijing American Center. Together with officials from the US Embassy, they conducted in-depth discussions on issues such as the current situation of Sino-US higher education cooperation, student visa policies, immigration affairs, and how to promote exchanges between Chinese and American students.

On the afternoon of January 30, the AUCA International Exchange Conference on Higher Education was successfully held at Beijing HUBS. The event brought together representatives from over 30 Chinese and oversea universities. They engaged in in-depth discussions and case sharing regarding the strategic choices, implementation practices, and future challenges of universities "Going Oversea".

During the sharing and exchange session, the participants focused on discussing the current trends and challenges of internationalization in higher education. It is generally recognized that in the context of the evolving geopolitical landscape and the increasingly urgent demands for global talents, universities "going oversea" - whether through establishing oversea campuses, creating more opportunities for cooperative education programs, or launching short-term study or degree programs - has become an important way for many universities to expand their influence, promote cultural exchanges, and cultivate comprehensive talents.

The conference is not only an opportunity for sharing experiences, but also a platform for reaching consensus and building cooperation. Chinese and oversea universities have endowed this dialogue with rich content and valuable forward-looking perspectives. As we welcome the new year of 2026, AUCA will continue to promote cooperation and communication between Chinese and oversea universities, as well as strengthen the sharing of professional knowledge within the industry.
